CERTIFICATE OF GOOD CONDUCT

What is Certificate of Good Conduct
or the so called certificato penale in Italian Language?
|
|
This is an internationally accepted certificate
issued by the authorities in the country of origin or of other countries where the
holder of such certificate has ever resided in his/life.
|
|
In Kenya, Certificates of Good Conduct are issued
by the Criminal investigation Department (CID). Kenyans, and any
other persons who may have resided in Kenya may apply for this certificate either
directly in Kenya or through the Kenya Missions abroad.

Persons who apply for these certificates directly
and for use of the same out of Kenya are required to have their certificates and
fingerprints legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nairobi.

NORMAL APPLICATIONS FOR CERTIFICATE OF
GOOD CONDUCT AT THE KENYA EMBASSY ROME
|
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two copies of Biographical Details duly filled. Click on dowloads to get the forms.
- Two passport size photos

Finger Prints done by the Police in the country of residence

Two photocopies of passport
- Two photocopies of birth certificate
- Clear copy of the new generation Kenyan ID
NB: (With the old ID, it is not possible to apply)
- Application fee Euro 20,00
- Postal charges Euro 7,50 (if applied by post)

Fee can be paid by Cash at the Embassy,
by Banker’s Cheque (Assegno Circolare),
or by Postal Money Order in the name of the Kenya Embassy Rome.
|
TIMES OF ISSUANCE:
Once the application has been received at the Embassy,
it takes 8-10 weeks to receive the certificate.
